Criteria: Worn by Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technicians (EOD) with ranks from Petty Officer 3rd Class (E-4) to Petty Officer 1st Class (E-6). Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technicians are responsible for the location, identification, rendering safe and disposing of all forms of ordnance from conventional to chemical/biological to even nuclear devices. These may be U.S. or foreign made. The areas in which these technicians preform their duties can vary dramatically and many the technicians have been trained to preform parachute, helicopter or even deep-sea diving insertions.
The badge is sold with all 3 chevrons below the rating for E-6, and can be tailored down to the other two chevrons.
