The Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal (MOVSM) is a decoration presented by the United States Armed Forces to recognize service members who have exceeded expectation in assisting the local community through volunteer services. The service must be sustained and provide a perceptible impact on the community. While there is no set time period for eligibility, most recipients have spent at least 3 years or 100 hours serving the community.
